We're leaving on a jet plane ...

Sitting at the Cincinnati airport waiting to board our flight to Chicago ... then Beijing.

We said our goodbyes to Henry. He made it super easy on us because he is beyond excited to stay with his cousins in Cincinnati.

Have to give a HUGE shout out to United Airlines ... after I sent some emails, made some calls, etc.  they waived the fees for our extra bags ... 2 to be exact ... stuffed with donations for the kids at the orphanage.  That was a big expense.
We checked in without a problem, the ticket agent saw all the notes on our record and said yep, see it right here, your fee has been waived.  Woot! Woot!  No problems at all.  She even said she was impressed with the progress I made.  Think there's a reason I fell into the reporting career ...haha! ... talk to anybody, find the right anybody :) and ask lots of questions ... 'til you get an answer.

I'm digging all the good signs ...
*We are naming James after my grandpa James Yates - and today, we fly out on my grandpa's birthday.
*two of my best friends from college share a birthday of June 8th ... and that is our Gotcha Day for James.
*Another college friend in that same group traveled to China to teach English and the kids named her Yi.  Our little guy's Chinese name is Yi.

Thanks for all the well wishes from SO many people!!!  We can feel the love :)  Our flight to Chicago is about to board.

Peace out for now!
